Mark Augustyn

Chief Operating Officer

Co-founder of Principle Construction Corp., a design/build general contracting firm located in Bannockburn, Illinois. As Chief Operating Officer and Treasurer, Mark has the responsibility of overseeing and managing many of the companies' functions and providing overall leadership for the growth and development of the organization. Specifically, he oversees the professional staff that manages Principle's design and construction projects. Additionally he manages the companies' field staff, safety program, QC/QA program, insurance programs, bonding and banking requirements.

Prior to founding Principle Construction Corp., Mark served as Vice President at McShane Construction Corporation where he was instrumental in the organization's growth, from a local $15M per year Design/Build contractor to a national $250M per year Design/Build and Real Estate Development Company. Mark also served as a Resident Engineer at Schal Associates. Mark is a licensed Architect in Illinois and Wisconsin. He is a graduate of the University Of Illinois School Of Architecture with a Masters Degree in Architecture.

Throughout Mark's extensive career, he has been responsible for the completion of over 3,500,000 square feet of design/build office, manufacturing, distribution, food processing and laboratory projects exceeding $150M.
